We started as "evening winemakers." With 66 ares (6600m²) of steep slopes—a size that makes some smile—we took over the Heinz-Friedel Zahn winery in 1994. We are Eckhard Zahn and Sonja Theobald-Zahn. Today, our wines grow on 1.3 hectares (13000m²). Bacharach Steeg is known for its excellent Riesling wines, which is why 95% of our vineyards are planted with Riesling grapes and 5% with Pinot Noir grapes.

Guesthouse: We have lovingly furnished our 5 double rooms. That’s why each of our rooms has a different appearance. From antique to modern, you can choose a room that suits you. Our rooms are equipped with shower and WC (Room 3 has the bathroom across the hall). Our house also offers free Wi-Fi. You can book our guest rooms all year round.
